This patch for the retail version of Zombie Driver updates the game to v1.2.6. It includes content from previous patches, including the free Blood Race content expansion, and fixes a number of gameplay issues. A list of changes can be found after the jump. Wow. We are just one month away from the end of 2010. Still no second manned Jupiter mission. Still no first manned Jupiter mission, actually. American and Russia, you have 31 more days to make our sci-fi dreams come true.

• As promised the PC ports of Super Meat Boy, DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue, and ArmA II: Private Military Company have been released on Steam.
• The PC port of nail'd is also out on Steam with a 10 percent discount for the next week.
• Steam bug updates are available for Zombie Driver, The Polynomial, Gratuitous Space Battles, and Puzzle Agent.
• Next weekend's Video Game Awards will be broadcast live to both US coasts for the first time.

Tuesday brings us some big price cuts on three PC games. Two of them are for today only while another lasts until Thursday:

• Over at the newly revamped Games For Windows web site they have Gearbox Software's FPS Borderlands on sale today only for just $9.99, a 50 percent price cut.
• Direct2Drive has the Grand Theft Auto collection (GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas) on sale for just $7.50 for today online.
• Steam has Zombie Driver on sale until Thursday for just $4.99. The game just got an update today that adds the free Blood Rage expansion pack

We have already reported on GamersGate and Impulse holding Halloween-themed PC game sales this weekend. Today it's Steam's turn to cut prices on a bunch of horror or scary-themed game titles. From now until November 1 you can get a large selection of titles at 50 to 75 percent off.

The list of games involved is too long to be listed here but there's a sample. Aliens Vs Predator (2010) is available for for $9.99. the zombie game Nation Red is just $3.39, Zombie Driver is a mere $4.99 and Team Fortress 2 (not realy a horror game but what the heck) has a price cut of $9.99.

With Halloween just a few days away there is certainly no shortage of horror-themed PC games that you can download and check out. GamersGate has a week-long sale of games that are supposed to shock and scare you, at least in theory.

The game deals end on October 31 and include the recent game Amnesia: The Dark Descent for 50 percent off to $9.99. Other games on sale include Dead Space for $9.99, Ghostbusters for $7.99, NecroVision for a mere $5.18, The Penumbra Collection for $9.99, Resident Evil 5 for $14.97, The Path for $4.99, and Zombie Driver for just $4.99

Last year, indie game developer Exor Studios gave us Zombie Driver, a fun arcade-like game where you piloted a well armed vehicle in a top-down view as you blasted the undead to kingdom come. Today Exor Studios announced plans to release a free expansion pack for the game, Zombie Driver: Blood Race.

As the title indicates, the expansion takes the game's basic premises and adds in a racing mode. New tracks have made created for players to race against other vehicles while the infected try to stop them from reaching the finish line. All good things end and so does GamersGate's 2010 summer sales event. Today is the fourth and final week for the PC game download site's series of price cuts. For the final hurrah the site has decided to cut prices on a number of indie-themed games by as much as 75 percent.

Just some of the big deals you can get at GamersGate for the next week include Braid for just $3.99 (both PC and Mac versions), World of Goo for $6.79, Osmos for $3.99, A Kingdom for Keflings for $6.79, Flotilla for just $3.39 and Zombie Driver for a mere $2.49.
