Chime announced for PC with portion of proceeds going to charity [Update]

A music-themed puzzle game that was originally released for the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade is heading to the PC via Steam. Developer Zoe Mode has announced that Chime will make its debut on the PC later this summer. Five percent of the proceeds from the PC version will be donate to OneBigGame. The charity organization gives money to two major charities, Save the Children and Starlight Children's Foundation.

Chime uses musical tracks to link to irregular shapes that went combined form rectangular blocks that cover the playing field. Musical artists like
Philip Glass, Moby and others have donated their tracks for use in Chime. The PC version will also have an exclusive track; the cult hit "Still Alive" from Valve's puzzle shooter Portal. The game will be released on Steam later this summer.

Update: Steam is now listing Chime as being released on September 6.
