Gaming PC and Xbox 360 combined with The Big O by Origin PC
While we have seen the occasional Xbox 360/PC combo mod machine created by the enthusiastic amateur, the gaming PC company Origin PC has gone ahead and made a very cool looking (and very expensive) rig called The Big O that combines a high end gaming PC and an Xbox 360 console. The PC side can use a regular Intel Core i7 processor but you can also configure it with two Intel's Xeon X5680 processors with six cores each that are overclocked to 4.3 Ghz. It can also hold up to 24 gigs of memory, and you can also thrown in some Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 graphics cards in an SLI set up. The system has a slim and liquid cooled Xbox 360 console in the case and you can play Halo Reach on the console while the PC is working on something else. And the price? Well, The Big O starts at $7,669. Wow.
