Spelunky Xbox 360 remake could show up on PC

Spelunky
Spelunky is a cool free 2D platformer game that was created by indie developer Derek Yu a while back. Currently Yu is making an updated version of the game Spelunky HD, for the Xbox 360 console. It will have updated graphics, more enemies and for the first time local four player multiplayer.

While Yu stated on the game's official web site back in 2009 that he didn't have any plans to port Spelunky HD to the PC, plans do indeed change. PC Gamer chatted with Yu at GDC 2011 and when asked he now admitted, "There's a very good chance we'll see the HD edition of Spelunky on PC at some point." Meanwhile the game is due out for the Xbox 360 later this year.

Feature: XBLA Games That Deserve PC Ports

There are some games that PC gamers just wish they had. Most of them usually fall into the realm of retail games, as there are tons of console exclusive retail games and not many downloadable ones. However, that is not to say that downloadable services don't have anything to offer. Some of a system's best games can be found on their online markets. We've rounded up 20 games, in no particular order, from the Xbox Live Arcade that should realy see a port to PC. Some have PC counterparts (like Catan) and others came from formerly PC developers (Dead Samurai, Castle Crashers). But they all have the trait in common that they should really see life on your computer. Because there's nothing worse than a game without a wider audience.

In-Depth - On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One

Longtime fans of the Penny Arcade webcomic most likely already know what I'm about to say here. You probably know that On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One is an adventure-RPG set in the steampunk/gothic horror world of New Arcadia where similar-yet-different versions of Gabe and Tycho run their own paranormal investigation firm -- of sorts. But did you know that in this game you'll get to battle robotic juicing machines that copulate with fruits, men, women and sometimes small animals? Oh, you did. Well fine, but don't say we didn't warn you when their little metal protrusions puncture your tibia.

For those of you who don't know every little detail about the game, let us make you au courant on the subject of OTRSPoD:EO. Yes, we just went acronymical on your ass.
