It's only been a few days since the Call of Duty: World at War v1.4 Patch released, giving players access to map pack 1. These new mod tools allow users to create custom content for updated game. This file updates the original Call of Duty: World at War Mod tools to v1.2, which offers a couple of additional enhancements compared to previous versions. It's only been a few days since the first map pack for Call of Duty: World at War released for consoles. PC players are still waiting, but this video should help ease things for a while. Once again, it features Verruckt, the new co-op zombie level that's included with the map pack. Fans can look forward to this and more Nazi Zombie action to come with future content updates.

Players have been waiting a long while for the release of Map Pack 1, the first downloadable content to be created for Call of Duty: World at War. This trailer provides a quick run through of what players can expect from the new content, including a brand new bonus zombie level. Map Pack 1 is available today for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners. The release date for the PC version hasn't been announced yet. This incremental patch for Call of Duty: World at War requires the v1.2 patch to be installed first. v1.3 fixes a number of gameplay issues, but most noticeably adds /record and /demo commands to the game, allowing players to record multiplayer matches.

Treyarch and Activision announced today that Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 will be released this March on all platforms. Maps will include "Nightfire," which takes place in the war-revenged streets of Berlin. "Knee Deep" takes players to the jungles of Japan to attack fortified positions, and players will fight inside a bombed out subway system in "Station."

Lastly, the four-player co-op Nazi Zombie bonus mode will be expanded with "Verruckt" (Zombie Asylum), a map that features new weaopns, new Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and an endless legion of the undead. The screenshot above provides some first looks at the map pack.

This patch updates Call of Duty: World at War to v1.2. It features a free mutliplayer along with a number of bugs and fixes. Continue reading for full patch notes.
