While the game was released via digital download last October, the official US version of the long awaited adventure game Gray Matter will finally reach US retail stores in February. Publisher Viva Media is taking on the US distribution duties for the game which was designed by Gabriel Knight creator Jane Jensen. The game shipped out in Europe in late 2010

In related news, Viva Media also announced today that it will released two more European adventure game imports to the US. The horror-adventure themed games Black Mirror 2 and Black Mirror 3 will also be released sometime in February.

Point-and-click adventure games maybe a niche market in the PC game industry nowadays but they still have a vocal fan following. Today publisher Viva Media announced they will be the US publisher for the latest such game Alter Ego, from Czech Republic developer Future Games.

The game itself is a horror-themed mystery game and will have you playing two characters in late 19th century England where your player characters (a thief and a police officer) have to solve a series of murders in a small town. The US version of Alter Ego is scheduled to ship to stores on August 1.

US PC gamers now have a specific release date for the new game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R first person shooter series. Viva Media announced today that it would be handing the North American publishing duties for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat and would release the game to stores on February 2.

The game, the third in the series from developer GSC Game World, will also be the second game released in the US that will have support for DirectX11 graphics out of the box. It will likely be followed by Aliens Vs Predator which is also expected to be released sometime in February.

"The RACE On demo has two game modes: in 'Racing Event' mode players must complete a whole weekend of racing, including training, qualifiers and the race itself, whereas the objective in 'Time Attack' is to achieve the fastest lap around a circuit."

In RACE On, "players can race on the circuits in 39 meticulously reproduced vehicles that are available in over 450 designs. 27 variants of 21 racing tracks guarantee hours of gaming fun. Apart from Imola and Okayama, glamorous raceways such as Laguna Seca, Road America, Sturup and Karlskoga also feature on the impressive list of tracks.

A realistic physics engine and a dynamic weather system that can change during a race, provides a totally authentic race atmosphere. Compulsory pit stops in the STCC races add an extra tactical component to the already exhilarating gameplay experience."

The full game is scheduled to release on October 22nd. System requirements are shown after the jump.

Wild West themed games seem to be on a mini-comeback this year. We already hear about Techland's new Call of Juarez shooter title and now comes word that Spellbound Entertainment's Western themed action-strategy game Helldorado is finally coming to the US.

First released in 2007 in Europe the game will now ship to the US in April via publisher Viva Media. The game takes place in a sleepy Wild West down and players will be able to take part in classic Western activities like "bar room brawls, a great train heist, showdowns, a jailbreak" and more.
