Bruce Willis in talks to portray Kane in Kane & Lynch film

According to Variety, Bruce Willis has been attached to the Hollywood movie adaptation of Eidos Interactive's video game Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. He's been selected to play Kane. The studio (Lionsgate) is still looking for someone to fill the role of Lynch.

The producers of the film have already adapted a video game to the big screen: they helmed the production of 2007's Hitman, another Eidos game. The film will be written by unknown screenwriter Kyle Ward, and directed by Simon Crane, who worked as a stunt director on many films including X-Men: The Last Stand and Titanic.

Don't do it Bruce! The game wasn't that good! We're not even sure why they're making a movie out of it. Even if everyone who bought the game went to see it, it would only gross $20 million; that might just barely pay Willis' salary!

Call of Duty 4 bonus maps finally coming to PC June 5th

Two months ago, PS3 and 360 gamers were offered a map pack for Call of Duty 4 called the Variety Map Pack. For reasons escaping human understanding, said pack was not available on the PC -- the platform on which Call of Duty originally made a name for itself.

Good news! Come June 5th, PC users will finally be able to download the Variety Map Pack. More good news: it will be free, thanks to a sponsorship by nVIDIA. Console users had to pay $10 for it! Four multiplayer maps are included in the pack -- Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and Killhouse.

If this is all new to you, familiarize yourself with the content via Joystiq's screenshot gallery, or Xbox 360 Fanboy's video walkthrough.
