There haven't been too many horror-themed MMO games but it looks like Hollywood movie maker Universal Studios wants in with a game that would bring most of its Universal Monsters franchises under one online game. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the movie studio will officially announced later this week that it has joined with SEE Virtual Worlds to make a MMO game where players go after creatures like Dracula, The Wolfman and Frankenstein's Monster.

Yep, that means you will be able to take out these monsters like Hugh Jackman did in that really bad Van Helsing movie. This MMO, which should be out by the end of 2011, is being developed by the same team behind the Michael Jackson MMO that was announced earlier this year. Universal is already teaming up with BigPoint to release a browser based MMO based on The Mummy movies.
