We've been looking forward to playing Lego Star Wars III The Clone Wars but it looks like the latest game in the long running family friendly Star Wars game series is going to take a little longer to complete.

The game from developer Traveller's Tales and publisher LucasArts was supposed to be released last fall but the release date got pushed back to February 15. Now Gamershell reports that the game will be delayed a few more weeks to March 22. This new date has been confirmed as the GameStop and Amazon.com web sites that now reflect the new shipping date. No specific reason for the delay was announced.

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, the latest Lego-based game in the long-running franchise from developer TT Games, has just been announced by its publisher Disney Interactive. The game is due out in May 2011 for the PC and other platforms around the same time Disney releases the fourth movie in the hugely popular Pirates of the Caribbean series.

The game will incorporate storylines from all four movies as well as over 70 of the movie's characters as they explore and battle through 20 levels. Like most of the other Lego games, this new entry will also have support for two player co-op mode.

Disney Interactive recently decided to cancel plans to release the long-in-development RPG Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned. The cancellation of that game also caused mass layoffs at its developer Propaganda Games.

Lego Star Wars III The Clone Wars hasn't been much on our radar of late but the latest Lego game from developer TT Games and publisher LucasArts is looking pretty sweet judging from the latest video. It shows various team members describing the game's features combined with new gameplay footage. The sight of hundreds of Lego-based battle droids and clone troopers fighting it out makes it clear that this will have an even more epic look and feel compared to previous Lego games.

Speaking of which our sister site Joystiq has confirmed that the game won't make its previously announced fall 2011 release schedule. It's now due out on February 15, 2011 in the US with a February 18 debut in the UK.

Mac owners have missed out on getting a native version of the great Lego Star Wars games, which is kind of odd since you would think that this family friendly action game based on the Star Wars franchise would be perfect for a Mac port. Finally Feral Interactive has announced that they will release a Mac port of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga in both stores and via download on Friday. November 12.

This port of the TT Games-developed title adapts all six movies in the Star Wars saga with those cool Lego bricks taking the form of various Star Wars characters, along with 36 levels, co-op support and more. The game will sell for the fairly high price of $39.95.

This is the playable demo for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, giving players an early look at the game before it release in North America on June 29th. Continue after the jump for system requirements.

People play with Legos and also play Lego-based PC games. A lot. That is the likely reason why the Lego Group has signed a new deal today with game developer Traveller's Tales to continue their previous licensing agreement to make more Lego-based games until the year 2016. Financial terms were not disclosed

Traveller's Tales, owned by Warner Bros. Interactive, had a massive critical and sales hit with their Lego Star Wars game. Since then the developer has sold almost 50 million units of its Lego based games which also include Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman. Their next projects are Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars which will be released later in 2010.
