The Global Agenda Trial provides unlimited access to the sci-fi themed MMO first-person shooter until the character reaches level 12. The trial demo includes content from the Sandstorm expansion and can be unlocked into the full version if you wish to continue playing. There is no monthly fee for online play after the initial purchase of the game. Be aware that the client comes in a very large zip file and Windows XP users may need a dedicated program to open it. System requirements are shown after the jump.

This demo installs the playable demo for the space action shooter, Alien Dominion: The Ancronian Encounter. The demo contains 30 minutes of play time, and players will have a chance to purchase the full game after the evaluation period. Once the 30 minute timer runs out, the demo is locked and players will lose all their progress. System requirements are shown after the jump.

In Alien Dominion, "the player is in a role of a turret gunner/shooter serving on a deep space exploration mission. Encountering an alien race while scanning for mineral rich asteroids in the region, the conqueror race starts it's attack right at the beginning. As it later turns out, the region is not dense with minerals – it is rich with hostile vessels..."

In Champions Online, players have a chance to put on costumes and create the comic book superhero of their dreams. The game has gone through some major content upgrades since its launch including its first free expansion, Revelation, which went live yesterday. There's no better time to try out the game than now, especially with the free to play weekend coming up.

Starting on Friday March 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. PDT and ending Monday March 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, all players will have unrestricted access to the game. During the trial period, players will be able to access all instances, game zones and game tools. This applies to both previous players, who will have their accounts reactivated during the trial weekend, and new players.

You can download and install the Champions Online trial demo now and jump straight into the game when the trial period starts on Friday.

Today marks the start of the 1-week trial period for the online action shooter, Crysis Wars. Players can re-use registered keys from previous trial periods and game game comes bundled with the purchase of Crysis Warhead. The game will have patched after download. This trial version of Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box allows you to explore the streets of Paradise City with a few cars from the full game. It also has access to online servers where players can compete in different races and challenges. A key can be purchased from within the trial, which unlocks the rest of the game.

Earlier this year, we all learned of EA's plans to release a Spore creature creator program prior to the launch of Spore this fall. We wondered: is it a demo, a character-creation-menu of sorts, or something in between? More importantly -- when and how can we get our hands on it?

We might have an answer to the "when and how" bit now. Amazon.com's product page for the SimCity Box compilation features (or rather, featured; we'll get to that in a moment) an image of the box art for said compilation. In the top-right corner, you'll find these words: "BONUS! SPORE Creature Creator Trial Version Inside!"

The image has since been pulled, but it's all over the 'net now. So that brings us to the earlier question: is it a demo, or what? Either way, it's probably not worth spending $40 for if you've got all those SimCity games already. If you don't, it's actually not a bad deal. For everyone else; maybe it will become freely available further down the line.
