This week PC gamers get a long awaited super-spy RPG, a couple of expansion packs, a top down sci-fi shooter revival and a free downloadable game based on a BBC TV series. In addition to the games listed below PC gamers can expect to see a number of classic Sega Genesis titles to be ported and released for the PC platform via Steam on June 1. Alpha Protocol - Obsidian Entertainment's long-in-development RPG is finally released via publisher Sega. The game, which attempts to combine a James Bond-like action game with deep RPG elements, is already getting some mixed notices from reviewers.

Fans of The Sims 3 and Sex and the City may be amused by this parody trailer based on the Sex and the City 2 movie commercials. The latest expansion, The Sims 3 Ambitions, released recently and introduced a number of new professions, but somehow we doubt any of them include city socialite. As an added note, since this is The Sims, shouldn't this video be called Whoo-Hoo and the City?

Electronic Arts' people sim sequel The Sims 3 is no stranger to in-game promotions. The title has already had Dr. Pepper offer free in-game items. Now the publisher has announced a new deal with car maker Renault to offer players a free in-game version of Renault's electric car, the Twizy Z.E. Concept.

The free car, which will apparently not be made available in the US and Canada for some reason, will be part of a Electric Vehicle Pack that will allow players to add other environmentally friendly items into the game such as a windmill and solar panels. A Sims family will be able to lower their bills if they have these kinds of items.

The Sims 3 World Adventures took to far off exotic locations, but the recently announced Ambitions expansions will motivate sims to stay a little closer to home. Expected to release in June, the Ambitions expansion will allow players to control their sims within certain jobs as they pursue their own personal adventures. Among the professions will be firefighters, genius inventors, detectives and doctors that make house calls or dabble in experimental medicine. These jobs should make for a more fulfilled and motivated sim.
