The Lord of the Rings: Conquest video makes it good to be bad

This developer diary for The Lord of the Rings: Conquest goes into detail about playing the evil campaign. The campaign offers an alternate perspective of The Lord of the Rings fiction by asking "What if Frodo failed in destroying the ring?" Players would fight in the all-powerful Saron's army and battle all the familiar heroes from the story to conquer Middle-earth.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest trailer takes you to the front lines of Middle-earth

The Lord of the Rings saga continues, this time from the point of view of a front line soldier in The Lord of the Rings: Conquest. Players will be able to choose from a host of different classes and jump into the battlefield as either a fighter for good or a one of Sauron's creatures of evil. The game is currently scheduled to release in January of 2009.

Trailer peeks into LOTRO's Mines of Moria

Adventurers exploring the lands of Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings Online will soon see their world grow with the upcoming Mines of Moria expansion. The cinematic trailer doesn't show off any specifics, like what the new areas will look like and how the upgraded graphics technology compares to the current one, but a balrog or two could be lying in wait for unsuspecting wanderers.
