Hunted The Demon's Forge just got even more interesting. The upcoming co-op themed fantasy action-RPG from developer inXile Entertainment and publisher Bethesda Softworks has revealed to some web sites plans to include a map creator for the game.

The map creator is called The Crucible. Eurogamer quotes inXile's Matt Finley as saying, "Basically we want users to be able to create maps and share them with their friends. And you'll be able to take your characters through maps." There are no other details on how The Crucible feature will work but we should learn more before Hunted The Demon's Forge will be released on June 1.

We have seen a number of Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 3 based games go the commercial route with sometimes mixed results. Now yet another UT3 mod team is seeking to make a commercial game out of their project. The RuneStorm team has announced on that it has the "aim of going commercial" with its multiplayer shooter mod The Crucible.

The game is based on that old "Heaven vs Hell" game design chestnut where angels, demons and mortal fight to the finish. The development team update states, "The finished product will be a more rounded game and should feature more maps, characters, weapons and also a few other features." Additionally RuneStorm is also working on a second project about which no info has been revealed.
