Bizarre Creations shuts down today; video of developer's games makes us sad

Today is officially the last day of operations for UK-based developer Bizarre Creations, according to the Develop web site. The developer of such PC games as The Club, Blur and James Bond 007 Blood Stone got notice from its owner Activision that it would be either sold or shut down back in November. Earlier this year Activision announced that it could not find a buyer for the developer which meant that over 200 people are now looking for new jobs.

A now former member of Bizarre Creations has created a video showcasing the developer's games but in a very touching and sad way. You can check out the trailer after the jump:

New downloadable PC game sales hit the net

While there will likely be some new PC game sales pop up on Friday it looks like a couple of downloadable sites are already providing a bunch of game sales ahead of the official start of the weekend:

GamersGate: From now until Sunday these games are 50 percent off their normal price at the download site: The Club, Imperium Romanum and Tibor: Tales of a Kind Vampire.

Steam: The newly updated The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut is 30 percent off its normal price until August 12. Also the newly released indie action game Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood is on sale for 25 percent off its normal price until August 11. Finally Prototype has had its price cut 20 percent for one week.
