GDC is getting closer and we've already heard through various whispers in the wind that there will be quite a few announcements coming before and during the conference. Just sayin'

This Week In PC Games: February 7-13

This week's new PC game releases include a sequel to an open world-based driving game, a Dungeon Hero-inspired game and a fantasy RPG that was made available first last week via download sites.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Developer Eden Studios and publisher Atari give us this second game in the open world driving game series this week. Set on two islands, the game has over 3,000 kilometers of road to explore as you drive in competition with others both offline and online. A lot of the cars in the game are exotic sports vehicles but the game wasn't able to get the licencing rights to any Lamborghini cars.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 trailer shows of Jaguar cars

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is pushing its collection of exotic and luxury vehicles, and this trailer is no exception. Depicting a number of cars from British manufacturer Jaguar, it is little more than porno for the car enthusiast. Slick chassis, shiny finishes, and smooth handling (in this trailer, anyway) make these cars a dream for anybody with a love for cars. For the rest of us, though, it's just a bunch of sports cars.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 trailer makes some garish cars

This Test Drive Unlimited 2 trailer starts off pretty standard. Cars changing colors, fancy garages, the works. Where it ends up, however, is somewhere completely baffling. Unlimited 2 plans to feature full car customization, and if this trailer is any indication, they aren't just restricting it to things such as certain patterns or certain color combinations. Want to make a bright blue car with earthen brown bubbles along the side? Go ahead! You can be as outlandish as you want, it seems. And despite the potential damage to our retinas, that's a good thing.

Also there are some games that we missed out on writing about in our previous parts of the series.

Today is the conclusion of our most anticipated PC games feature of 2011. Today's list includes a number of racing games along with some sim titles, adventure games and indie titles. As with our previous articles these games are listed in order of their planned release dates but those dates can, and usually do, change with little notice.
