Terminator: Salvation game used for downloadable machinima series
The Terminator: Salvation game is due to ship to stores today and will also be made available via digital download. However the game is also being used to create a new six part machinima series. The series tells a prequel story to the game and movie as it reveals how one of its characters Blair Williams (voiced by its movie and game voice actor Moon Bloodgood) met up with John Connor's resistance movement against Skynet.
The machinima series used the assets of the game, developed by GRIN, to create the original story. You can download the first part of the series from several locations including iTunes and Amazon Video On Demand. A new episode will be released every week until its conclusion. Individual episodes cost $1.99 each or $2.99 for the high def version. You can get a season pass for all six parts for $9.99 in standard definition and $14.99 for the high definition version.
