Dead Space 2 trailer gets into the eyes of a necromorph

Dead Space 2's multiplayer mode is vaguely reminiscent of Left 4 Dead. Four human players, four infected players, and a ton gore. This trailer for the multiplayer, appropriately termed "Outbreak Mode," goes into the eyes and abilities of the necromorphs rather than the engineers. It details the abilities of each of the four classes: the Puker, Spitter, Pack, and Lurker. It's also the first time we've seen the multiplayer mode completely from the player's perspective, including points for kills and names everywhere. In other words, watch this if you wanna see what Outbreak is all about.

Dead Space 2 trailer pits Isaac against the necromorphs

Isaac Clarke is having one hell of an awful time, and if Dead Space 2 is any indication, he's in for a lot worse. It's roughly two weeks away, but EA has released a launch trailer which shows off some gameplay and cinematic footage. With plenty of new NPCs, cool set pieces, and (of course) necromorphs to dismember violently, Dead Space 2 looks to be a worthy sequel. At least if this trailer is any indication! As far as content goes, though, it doesn't actually show us anything new or exciting, except perhaps a few people we haven't seen before.

Review: Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising was an Xbox 360-exclusive title that aimed to capture the hearts of zombie fans everywhere. It did just that, and despite some major flaws, it was a surprisingly solid game with plenty of replayability. Now it's time for the sequel, and things have changed. New protagonist, new location, new story, and new development team have guaranteed that Dead Rising 2 will be different. Only it's not so much different, but rather an improvement. There's a sense of deja vu all throughout Blue Castle's endeavors to provide Capcom with a worthy addition to the franchise, and funnily enough, it ended up as the better game out of the two. Blue Castle has learned from the mistakes Capcom made, and while Dead Rising 2 certainly has issues, they are far less notable and important issues than the first game's problems.

Dead Space 2 trailer groups together against the necromorphs

Dead Space 2 definitely seems to be taking a cue from Valve's insanely popular Left 4 Dead series. The 4-on-4, engineers-vs-necromorphs multiplayer looks very similar to Left 4 Dead's Versus mode, but with a Dead Space twist, and that's all it really needs to be unique and interesting. This trailer shows off some of the gameplay, which involves player-controlled necromorphs dismembering and generally ruining the days of the security team sent into a mine. There's a lot of good angles and it shows off some of the necromorph abilities, so if you want an early primer to this new multiplayer mode, definitely give this trailer a once over.

Dead Rising 2 trailer goes through tons of duct tape to get creative

We're incredibly pumped for Dead Rising 2, and this trailer only gets us more excited. Everyone loves some zombie slaughter, after all, and being able to create your own weapons just adds icing to the cake. Chuck Greene's fight to save his daughter hits shelves next Tuesday, so there's still about a week to go before the killing can begin. If you want to satiate your hunger for carnage, this trailer will definitely tide you over until the 28th. There's not really much else we can say.

Dead Rising 2 trailers give tickets to Fortune City

Dead Rising
was a great game, but it never made it to PC. This is not unusual, though, as Capcom is gloriously inconsistent with its PC ports. They are aiming to rectify this issue with Dead Rising 2, however. Full of over-the-top, balls-to-the-wall, various-hyphenated-phrases-for-awesome zombie killing, it will no doubt satisfy our bloodlust for the walking, rotting dead.

Two new trailers from Capcom show off just where Dead Rising 2 is taking place. The first is a delightfully cheesy intro to the gambling town of Fortune City. While the visuals are certainly goofy, pay attention to the narration, as it has some ridiculous zombie-killing puns. The second trailer (after the break) is a little more straightforward and plays it in an opposite light: it has a normal narration, but is packed to the brim with gameplay footage of dressing up and zombie slaughter.
