Saturday isn't a day to rest as far as PC game sales are concerned. There are some deals that are available just for today. Let's take a look at them now:

• Telltale Games has an excellent one day sale today in its online store. You can get all three seasons of Sam and Max, plus Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Wallace and Gromit, the two episodes of Bone, Puzzle Agent and Poker Night at the Inventory in one bundle for just $49.95.
• Impulse has a one day sale for all of its 1C Company published games for 50 percent off.
• GamersGate has Fantasy Wars on sale for just $2.99.

It's only been recently that developer Telltale Games has offered its titles for the Mac platform. Today the company announced that it is going back and porting one of its older games, Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People, to Apple's machines (it's also coming to the PS3 on December 21).

Yes, Mac players will get the pleasure of encountering Strong Bad and other members of the wacky Homestar Runner web animated series in playable adventure game form with five episodes to try out. The game was first released for the PC and the Wii consoles over two years ago. There's no word yet on a specific release date nor pricing for the Mac port.

Telltale Games has started a 30 day sales event on its web site that lasts until the end of the year. Each day there will be a special deal that might involve extra offers, free games or more. Today the special sales deal is for 50 percent off of everything in Telltale's online store. That includes downloadable games, DVD game collections, books, prints, clothes, music and more.

The 50 percent discount is applied to your purchases when you proceed to your online cart. The only real catch is that the sales deal does not apply to the just released game Poker Night at the Inventory nor to the upcoming Back to the Future episodic game.

Telltale Games' quirky crossover game Pokter Night At The Inventory now has a firm release date. The casual poker title that features characters from four different game and game-related universes (The Heavy (Team Fortress 2), Tycho (Penny Arcade), Max (Sam and Max), and Strong Bad (Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People) is now due for release via Steam on Monday. November 22.

The game, which will available for both PC and Mac platforms, is already priced to be super cheap at $4.99 but you can pre-order it before it comes out for $4.49. Don't forget that by purchasing the game you will also get some unique in-game items for Valve's shooter Team Fortress 2.

Just pre-ordering the game will get the player a poker visor for TF2 that can be worn by The Heavy. In addition playing the game itself will unlock other special items for other Team Fortress 2 characters including a timepiece from Tycho (Penny Arcade), the luger from Max (Sam and Max), and shutter shades from Strong Bad (Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People). The mysterious new Telltale Games title that was teased over the weekend now has a name. It's Poker Night at The Inventory and it does indeed feature characters from four different game and game-related universes: The Heavy (Team Fortress 2), Tycho (Penny Arcade), Max (Sam and Max), and Strong Bad (Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People).

At the moment there's not a lot of info on what kind of poker or gameplay features the title will have but there's little to complain about in terms of the price. Telltale and Steam are both taking pre-orders for the game for a mere $4.95. You will also get a 25 percent coupon when you pre-order that can be used on most of Telltale's other products. The game itself is due for release later this fall.

We've seen some minor game crossovers in the past but apparently something is coming from Telltale Games that, well, could be (and we emphasize COULD) one of the biggest game crossover events ever. GameTrailers has posted up a teaser trailer that, as you can see from the screenshot, seems to show the silhouettes of Tycho from Penny Arcade, Max of Sam and Max, Strong Bad from Homestar Runner and the Heavy player character from Team Fortress 2.

So what in the wild, wild world of sports is this teasing us for? Is it for an upcoming game? Is it for a comic strip? Is it for an animation project? The San Diego Comic-Con may be over but a previously unknown Comic-Con related sale over at Telltale Games is still going on as we speak. The downloadable game maker has put several of its recent and older titles on the price chopping block but because we didn't know about it until just now you may only have a few more hours to take atvantage of it.

The current season of Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse is on sale for $24.95 and the one shot game Puzzle Agent is on sale for $8.96. Sam and Max Season One and Two are on sale for just $9.95 each and the entire season of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is available at the rock bottom price of $4.95. In addition a number of Telltale merchanice are also on sale.

In this netherverse between Christmas and New Year's Day many retail stores are getting rid of excess inventory and doing some winter cleaning of their shelves to prepare for the new year. It looks like Telltale Games is doing something similar with their online store.

This week Telltale is cleaning their decks and giving customers a big 25 percent off their entire order from their online store. That includes downloads of their games like Sam and Max, (their their "season" is due in 2010) Wallace and Gromit and Tales of Monkey Island along with DVD collections of their games, CD soundtracks, toys and other items.

Turning five years old for a kid usually means a big birthday and a chance to go to school for kindergarten for the first time.For Telltale Games, turning five years old means that they have some celebrating to do and you get some of the benefits.

From now until May 18, Steam users will be able to download the first and second seasons of Telltale's Sam and Max episodic game series for $14.99 (Season One) and $17.49 (Season 2). That's a 50 percent savings from its normal Steam price. The entire first season of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People is also on sale for just $17.49, another 50 percent savings.
