Free expansion released for Buccaneer: The Pursuit of Infamy

Just in case you been living in a cave the past few years you know that pirates have re-entered our pop culture with a vengence. Developer Stickman Studios released their entry into the market, Buccaneer: The Pursuit of Infamy, some time ago. Now the developer has released a major free upgrade to the sea-based action game that can be downloaded via Steam.

The biggest part of the upgrade is the new co-op mode where you and one of your best pirate buds can fight off the man (also known as The Crown) in 20 new levels broken up into five mini-campaigns. Seven new Steam achievements and lots of other new additions and bug fixes are a part of the game. Folks who haven't tried it out can purchase the full version for $19.99.

Steam offers Buccaneer at 50 percent off

If you wanted to sail the high seas on a tall ship but didn't have the cash, Valve's Steam service has the perfect game for you. The recently released historical action-strategy game Buccaneer: The Pursuit of Infamy has has a temporary price reduction to $9.99. That's a 50 percent discount for the game's normal $19.99 price.

The full game from developer Stickman Studios contains over 50 missions along with multiplayer support for up to 18 players. Do you have what it takes to be a scurvy pirate or not? Steam also offers a free demo of Buccaneer that contains all of the game's multiplayer levels and eight of the single player missions.
