Star Trek Online's launch this time last month seems to have been a success, but many Trekkers might not want to pay a subscription fee for their chance to explore their favorite sci-fi franchise in game form. Fear not, however, because plans for other Star Trek games are in the works.

Trekmovie.com chatted with CBS Licensing VP of Product Development John Van Citters on future products based on Star Trek. While he was very complimentary on the launch of Star Trek Online, he stated that there are plans to launch other Trek based games. He said, "There are definitely things in the works. There is a great deal of interest in developing new games for Star Trek and we will definitely have more to say about it in the future."
