Razer announces Anansi MMO-themed gaming PC keyboard

Razer continues to make new product announcement on a regular basis. Today the gaming PC peripheral company announced a new PC keyboard that it claims is designed specifically for the MMO player. The Anansi keyboard is also designed to complement the previously released MMO-themed Razer Naga gaming mouse.

The Razer Anansi keyboard has seven thumb modifiy keys that Razer says allows the keyboard to "instantly use up to seven times more commands and abilities" than a standard keyboard. There are over 100 keys that allow for on-the-fly macro recording, custom backlighting for the keys and five gaming specific keys. The keyboard will be available in December for $99.99.

Razer to release wireless version of Naga MMO gaming PC mouse

In 2009, Razer released the Naga, a gaming PC mouse made specifically for MMO players with a whopping 17 programmable buttons. However the mouse was still of the wired variety. Today Razer announced a wireless version of that mouse, the Razer Naga Epic.

As with the original, the Naga Epic will allow PC gamers to fully program the 17 mouse buttons including the 12 button located on the left side of the mouse. It will also have a side panel that can be removed and changed with three different versions for gamers to find the best fit for their hand. It also comes with a 5600 dpi setting, support for 16 million customizable light colors, and more. The mouse can be used in both wired and wireless modes with up to 12 hours of continuous use in wireless mode. The Naga Epic will be sold in November for $129.99.

Razer to release two special editions of Naga MMO gaming PC mouse

When gaming PC mouse company Razer announced its plans to release the Naga mouse a lot of folks were stunned. After all not too many PC mice have 17 programmable buttons that allows gamers, especially MMO players, lots of access to special macros and commands. Yet the Naga was released and seems to be a hit with MMO gamers.

This week Razer announced that it would released not one but two special edition versions of the Naga mouse. The basic design is not changing but the Maelstrom edition (shown above) has a blue swirl on top that's lit up by blue lights. The Molten special edition (shown after the jump) has red interior lighting with a red cracked visual on top. Both editions are due in November for $79.99 each.

Razer to offer mouse bungee for gaming PC mice

The team at Razer have released more than its fair share of different gaming PC mice over the years but this week the company announced it plans to release a product that is designed to make gaming with a mouse even better.

Razer has announced that it has hired the creator of the Mouse Bungee on its team. The Mouse Bungee is a stand with a suspension spring that's designed to keep PC mice with wires more freedom of movement without any snags or drags due to the wire. Razer's version of the Mouse Bungee is due to be released by the end of the year. So far pricing has yet to be revealed.

Razer announces Naga gaming PC mouse for MMOs


Just a few weeks after Razer announced plans for a new gaming PC mouse designed for laptops comes word of yet another new gaming PC mouse. This time the product is being designed specifically for MMO games. The Razer Naga mouse has a whopping 17 buttons, 12 of which are placed where the thumb is for right-handed gamers.

The 12 thumb buttons are designed to replace spell buttons on the keyboard so that the gamer can concentrate on movement and modifier keys. You can also use the game's software to store mouse-keyboard command profiles for your MMO games. The $79.99 mouse is supposed to be made available "soon".

Also, Razer announced the new Razer Megasoma mousing surface pad today. The $49.99 product is supposed to combine the high tracking ability of a hard pad with the flexibliy of a soft pad. It will also be made available "soon"
