Puzzle Agent 2 revealed; due out this summer

Puzzle Agent was a "pilot" game for developer Telltale Games in 2010. Instead of a multi-chapter downloadable series, the game was a one-shot that mixed up elements of X-Files and Twin Peaks as the player follows Nelson Tethers, a special "puzzle" agent for the FBI solving mysterious cases.

Today, via our sister site Joystiq, Telltale Games has revealed that it is working on Puzzle Agent 2. Other than the game will be coming out for the PC and Mac (among other platforms) sometime this summer, no other details of the game were officially announced. Joystiq has a brief teaser trailer that you can check out at their site.

More one-day PC game sales include nearly all of Telltale's games for $49.95

It's Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space, the second "season" of Telltale's episodic game series. When the deal sells 5,000 bundles, Telltale will also unlock Sam and Max: Across Time and Space for free. 25 percent of the procees go to several charities including Child's Play, The World Wildlife Fund, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Nyota e.V., and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Telltale launches adventure game bundle deal for charity

If you love classic and new adventure games and also want to contribute something to society, Telltale Games has a deal for you. Puzzle Agent released for the PC

Developer Telltale Games has now released its latest game Puzzle Agent.making it available to purchase and download for the PC on their web site for $9.99. The single episode "pilot" for a new episodic adventure series is something a bit new for Telltale as this is both an original property (not based on a previous license like Sam and Max or Tales from Monkey Island) and also a try out to see if the game can support a full "season" of chapters.

Puzzle Agent mixes elements of X-Files and Twin Peaks as the player follows Nelson Tethers, a "puzzle agent" for the FBI, as he investigates and solves puzzles dealing with a mystery in Scoggins, Minnesota.
