Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 trailer goes for the long shot

There are long trailers, and then there's this trailer for Pro Evolution Soccer 2011. Much like the game's name, this trailer runs on forever, and it lists all of the features that have been added or changed in this new edition. Some of the most important include online player trading, stringing feints together, and the creation of new leagues. It also has some new cup licenses for those that wanna try for more championships. The only problem with this particular trailer, though, is the run time. It could have been way more concise, as six minutes is a really long time for a trailer.

Updated: The Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 Demo Tweak allows you to modify camera angles and match times

"Players will be able to select fully licensed Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Barcelona club teams, or the licensed Italian or French national sides. The demo will allow users an early taste of the all-new elements set to further bolster PES 2009's reputation as the definitive football game. All new visuals with completely remodeled players and animations, and new physics routines to ensure the ball behaves more realistically have been included, while the AI of the CPU sides has been enhanced to provide an ever evolving challenge.

The PES 2009 demo will also include promotional videos detailing the new game's "Become a Legend" and online "Legends" modes, which see the player controlling just one player within a team and attempting to forge a career in football. Starting as a promising 17-year-old, players must force their way into the first team and produce a series of blistering performances which will ultimately result to a move to one of Europe's biggest sides. Or, on the flipside, poor performances can see a player struggling in the lower leagues and eventually being released."

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 coming this fall to the PC

While EA Sports has decided to take a pass for the most part on the PC platform for its 2009 line-up of games, Konami has come to the PC sports fan's rescue (if you are a soccer fan that is) with the announcement this week of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009. The game will indeed be coming to the PC and a number of other game platforms later this fall.

According to a press release from the company, the cover box will have Argentinean forward Lionel Messi as the game's official face. The new installment has supposedly undergone a graphical revamp for the 2009 version along with a number of other additions and improvements including a new Legend mode where a player can control a virtual soccer team member throughout a career.

Pro Evo Soccer 2009 striking Europe this Autumn

The world's most popular sport is coming back to PC in gaming form this Autumn, at least in Europe. Today Konami announced the latest installment of their popular soccer football franchise, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, will release on the PC as well as consoles in Europe later this year. Known for its hardcore simulation gameplay and realism, PES 2009 promises to bring the franchise to the next level with a complete graphical overhaul and additions that hope to blur the line between the digital and real life game. While last season's offering was plagued with issues, PES 2009 promises to extend realism and "produce a football title that truly embodies all the skill and pace that is good about the modern game," according to Jon Murphy, PES 2009 project lead for Konami Digital Entertainment. Release dates for the rest of the world have yet to be determined.
