Aion videos kickoff the game's official launch

Aion, the MMO that gives you wings, is already a huge hit in S. Korea, a country where online games are a part of the culture's daily life. In the fourth (and last) video podcast, the developers at NCsoft travel to Seoul to get the fans' comments and reactions to the game. It also answers some burning fan submitted questions. Hopefully, the enthusiasm in Asia will carry over to the West, since the game is set to officially went live in North America today. The gorgeous launch trailer can be seen after the jump.

Aion video podcast addresses the East/West divide

The newest video podcast for Aion addresses the game's origins and phenomenal success in South Korea. However, hits in Asia don't always translate into major successes in the US. The developers discuss a few of the changes that are implemented to make the MMO, which has been live in S. Korea for almost a year, to make the game more appealing to a Western audience. We'll know for certain how well Aion's wings take flight when the game officially releases in the US on September 21st.

BigCast eats turkey, gets sleepy

The problem with having a Canadian host is they forget about American holidays! Well, the BigCast has fell victim to the holiday glut and passed out on the couch watching football. So our planned "Big Show" has been delayed. Don't fret BigCast fans, the show next week will cover our impressions of the biggest titles released this holiday season and news from around the wonderful work of video gaming. Now, where is our pillow... we're still sleepy. Turducken is so delicious!

BigCast 018 -- Escorting

Just our luck. We finally hit 18 and we're a week late to vote! Joystiq's Ross Miller and AOL GameDaily's Robin Yang join the crew for a BigCast where we ask, "Can non-AAA titles really stand a chance during the holiday season?" Discuss the most overused and annoying gaming conventions from escort missions to regenerating health and throw another trio of Would You Rather questions in every direction. It's alive! It's the BigCast.

BigCast 017 -- Expletive Deletive

Do not adjust your Internets. The BigCast has returned with another epic adventure. This week we can't stop talking about adventure games, what qualifies the genre and who plays them? Think of games that we should have played but never got around to (slowly listen as the conversation goes completely off track) and throw down for another edition of Would You Rather? It's a brand new day in a brand new America, this is the BigCast!

BigCast 016 -- Weekend Edition

After a few bumps in the road the BigCast returns with three segments of PC gaming fun. In the first segment we talk about GTA IV and if it still means anything as it preps for a PC release and what we want and fear for the new BioShock from 2K Marin. Segment two brings the team into the seedy underbelly of sex and violence in games. In the last segment we ask Would You Rather, and discuss which game from our past has helped shape our future. We're late but we're live, on the BigCast!

BigCast 015 -- Breaking Old News

This week on the BigCast we tackle PC gaming optimization and the issues associated with settings, give our live-as-they-happened thoughts on Star Wars: The Old Republic and ask if it's possible for something to go terribly wrong and in a BigBonus segment talk about Heroes ... yeah, the television show. We're going off topic, here on the BigCast!
