Playboy Playmates to invade Mafia II's E3 2010 booth

With E3 2010 now just a couple of days away from opening its exhibit doors, companies are starting to reveal just what activities will be at their own exhibits. 2K Games will be showing off the demo for their upcoming open world action game Mafia II at the booth and will also be giving out Mafia II t-shirts during the show.

Oh, who are we kidding? You just want to know about the Playboy Playmates that will be there. Ok Ok. If you are coming to E3 you can get your picture taken with some Playmates (including Jaime Edmondson, the lady over to the right). The full schedule of Playmates and when they will be at the Mafia II booth is at the game's official web site. Happy now?

Dead Rising 2 to feature in-game Playboy content

A few months ago it was announced that Mafia II would feature covers of classic Playboy magazine covers in the game. It now looks like the classic men's magazine is making a bigger push in games with the announcement that Playboy content will be featured in the upcoming zombie action game Dead Rising 2.

Not only will players see billboards and ads with Playboy imagery, the player character Chuck Greene will be able to fight off the zombie horde with "a unique and special upgrade" by finding in-game Playboy magazines. The Blue Castle Games-Capcom title will give us some bunny love when its released for the PC and other platforms on August 31.

Mafia II to allow gamers to collect in-game Playboy magazines

Apparently shooting people and firebombing businesses are not enough for players to be interested in getting Mafia II. The long delayed open world crime action game from developer 2K Czech and publisher 2K Games will also have some extra stuff for players to collect; specifically in-game Playboy magazines from the game's time period.

Over 50 of Playboy's covers and centerfolds will be available to collect in the game's fictional setting of Empire Bay (presumably under teenage boys' beds). Playboy tried to enter the game business several years ago with the release of Playboy: The Mansion, a more adult Sims-like game that failed to gain an audience.
