Those who enjoy jumping right into the action by chopping their way through a sea of enemies might enjoy this gameplay footage from Kingdom Under Fire II. Interestingly, these videos show off the PC controls for pulling off killer combos instead of on a console controller. The second gameplay video, which demonstrates some of the real-time strategy elements in addition to the action fighting, is shown after the jump. Kingdom Under Fire II is expected to release sometime in 2010.

In Darkest of Days, players take the role of a Time Agent who must jump to different periods throughout history to protect the course of events. These periods range from the two world World Wars to the town of Pompeii as Mount Vesuvius erupts, burying it in ash.

It's been just under a year since Korean developer Blueside and publisher Phantagram announced their plans for Kingdom Under Fire II, a sequel to their fantasy MMO title from several years back. Now the game's official web site has finally launched with a lot more info and media from the game.

Still due for release sometime in 2009, Kingdom Under Fire II is promoting itself as a mix of RTS and MMO genres. While the game will still have an offline single player mode it will also have a multiplayer mode "...where thousands of gamers can join in a server to pit their skills against each other." So far there's no word on what publisher will bring this game to the US.
