Wow. It looks like our readers love going back down memory lane to speculate on bringing back some of their favorite PC game franchises. We have put up not one but two such installments this week and they have been some of our most popular features we have posted on our site.

The nice thing is that there are still a number of great franchises that we would like to see come back and we think you might agree as well. So let's head back to the Wayback machine to see what other PC games would be good for an eventual comeback. Among our choices this time are a sci-fi multiplayer shooter, a medieval sneaker game and a classic adventure title.

On Tuesday we posted up a feature naming 10 classic PC games that we think would be perfect for a revival. The response to the article was extremely positive, so much so that we have decided to quickly post up another installment featuring 10 more PC game titles that are ripe for a comeback.

Among our choices this time are a mob-themed first person shooter, a fantasy RTS, a movie-based space sim and and tactical cyberpunk strategy-action game. Can you guess which games we are talking about before you check out our choices (there's a rather large hint in the image above)?

There are lots of PC games out there that are getting revived lately. We have seen the Fallout franchise get back on track with Bethesda Softworks' Fallout 3, The C&C: Red Alert RTS series got a new lease on life with Red Alert 3. Yet there are many other classic PC game franchises that are well known that perhaps could also get a second chance for the public.

Big Download has picked 10 such games that we think would be perfect for a publisher interested in introducing these franchises to a whole new audience. Of course, a lot will depend on which development team will handle these games but with a little bit of love, these titles are all prime candidates for a new coat of paint.
