This client installs the open beta for Darkspore, the sci-fi action role-playing game where players can upgrade their heroes with various body parts and gear. The open beta allows access to the first few levels of the game and ends on April 22, 2011. Participation in the beta requires an EA account and an active internet connection. Darkspore is currently scheduled to release on April 26 in North America and April 28 in Europe.

The Medal of Honor multiplayer open beta client is available now for download and will be become active on October 4th. Download it now and install it so you can be ready when the servers go live. Maps include the Shahikot mountains and Kunar Base, playable in Combat Mission or Sector Control modes. Visit the official website fore more details.

If you still have the Medal of Honor closed beta on your system, you will have to uninstall it before installing the open beta. In order to see pings in the server browser, you need to run the program as Administrator. Acceptance of beta agreement required. Beta expires October 7, 2010.

The full game releases on October 12. System requirements are shown after the jump.
