Blueside and Newiz to team up for new MMO

There's yet another new MMO entry in the already crowded market to talk about today. Korean deveopers Neowiz and Blueside have announced a team-up to produce a new fantasy MMO that's currently known only by its code name of Project T.

Due for release sometime in 2011, the game is being developed by Blueside (best know for the Kingdom Under Fire games) and will be based on a new IP with "highly stylish action". In the meantime Blueside is still developing Kingdom Under Fire II, a fantasy RTS with online persistant elements. It's currently due for release in 2010.

Unnamed Stray Bullet Games MMO gets publisher

A while back the former members of the Austin based Wolfpack Studios (creators of the Shadowbane MMO) reformed as Stray Bullet Games and announced plans to make a brand new MMO title. Details of the MMO are still a secret but this week the developer announced that they have struck a deal with Korean based Neowiz to publish their unnamed game title.

Along with the publisher announcement, Stray Bullet Games gave a few more hints about the unnamed MMO title, saying it would be a" fully-realized, ongoing MMO battle experience that combines action with tactical and strategic game play." The press release also hinted the game would have "individual characters, guilds, and global factions engage in mass combat that is meaningful, exciting, and above all fun." A new piece of concept art for the game was also released and is reproduced above. No release date for the game was announced.

DICE confirms three new Battlefield titles in the works

As EA DICE tweaks their first foray into the free to play realm with Battlefield: Heroes and prepares to release the once controversial console exclusive Battlefield: Bad Company, the future of the franchise has already been revealed. At GDC Paris today, executive producer Ben Cousins confirmed that the team at EA DICE is currently developing three additional titles in the Battlefield series bringing the current grand total to five.

One of the newly revealed titles is aimed squarely at traditional hardcore console gamers while another marks a collaborative effort with developer Neowiz to bring the franchise to the Korean market. The three new Battlefield titles were hinted at during a GDC Paris keynote presentation. "Since the start of this year I've been working as executive producer for the entire Battlefield franchise - we've got five titles in development at the moment, which is probably more than you expect," Cousins teased the crowd.

No other information regarding the new titles have been revealed but considering they are currently in development we expect to hear more at E3 this July.
