The Week In PC Games: October 12-18

After a busy last few weeks, things on the new PC game release front slow down a tad for this week. In addition to the games listed below you can also get the Fallout 3: Game Of The Year edition this week which has the original game and all five previously released downloadable mini-expansions. Also this week comes another collection of previously released material, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Collection.

NBA 2K10: While EA has pretty much abandoned the PC market for its sports games, 2K Sports is releasing their latest pro basketball game for PC owners as well as their console audience. Sports game developers Visual Concepts are in charge of this title which has features like updates and news that will reflect the real NBA season.

The Big PC Games for Fall 2009 - Part Two

The next three months will see quite a few PC games being released to stores and/or via digital download. At Big Download we would be remiss if we didn't alert you ahead of time to what PC games we are keeping an eye on for the fall/holiday season.

Yesterday we posted the first part of our three part series of what we think will be the big PC games this fall with all of them currently scheduled to be released in September. Today we have 14 more games to check out that are at the moment scheduled for October and the first part of November. Remember, our release date are based on the best info we currently have; they can, and most likely will in a couple of cases, change.

NBA 2K10 confirmed for the PC

Usually 2K Sports sneaks in an announcement of one of their titles coming to the PC just before it shipped to stores but today the sports game brand of Take Two Interactive officially confirmed that they will be releasing a PC version of NBA 2K10, the next game in their pro basketball series.

As you can see by the box cover of the game, LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant is the featured player for NBA 2K10 which is being developed by the sports game veterans over at Visual Concepts. We just hope that 2K Sports doesn't repeat the mistake they made for NBA 2K9 when they shipped the PC version without the required CD key.
