More Steam one day sales revealed

How popular are the one day sales this week on Steam? Well, one of the five games on sale on Monday, Prey, actually ran out of CD Keys (BioShock priced at $4.99 was put in its place). Today there are some more games cut down to the bone (in terms of their price) for the next 23 hours.

Like yesterday's this this new list has all but one of the games on sale for less than $10 each. The exception is King Arthur. The recently released RTS-RPG is on sale for $19.99 today. The other games are Silent Hill: The Homecoming for $9.99, Stormrise and Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor for $7.49 each, Jade Empire for $3.75 and Mr. Robot for a mere $1.99.

Impulse puts indie on spotlight for this weekend's deals

While not quite as remarkable as last week's indie package on Direct2Drive and Steam, Impulse is spotlighting the independent developer this week with their weekend deals, ranging from the prominent independents to the little guys that nobody has heard of. Along with this also comes a deal on the new The Witcher: Director's Cut. All games except for The Witcher are half-off, while The Witcher is 30% off. The full list of games is as follows:

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut
Hacker Evolution
Hacker Evolution: Untold
Mr. Robot
Starscape
Morning's Wrath

Steam launches their own indie game bundle sale

Not to be outdone by Direct2Drive's previously announced indie game sales bundle, the folks at Valve have decided to hold their own sale on Steam that lowers the cost of getting into the indie games scene. From now until Monday you can buy all the games below in one collection for just $29.99. That's a price cut from $119.90 if each game were bought seperately

Audiosurf
Blueberry Garden
Braid
Crayon Physics Deluxe
Darwinia
Everyday Shooter
Gish
Mr. Robot
The Path
World of Goo

If that's just too much indie game action for your blood you can also purchase Blueberry Garden, Braid, Everyday Shooter, The Path and World of Goo together in a bundle for just $19.99. That's compared to a normal $59.95 price
