The MotoGP motorcycle racing license has bounced around between a number of publishers in the last few years, including Namco Bandai, THQ and Capcom. Now it looks like the property has finally settled on one publisher. Capcom issued a press release today announcing that they have acquired the MotoGP game publishing rights until the year 2012.
It looks like the company won't waste any time releasing games based on the road racing themed series; they plan to release their first game, based on the 2008 MotoGP season, for a variety of platforms including the PC. It's good to know that a publisher mostly known for its console releases can support PC users as well.
