It's finally here! The Team Fortress 2 update we've all been waiting for has finally arrived, bringing with it the new Goldrush map, Medic achievements and brand new Medic weapons -- which are the first of many more to come for the other classes. So load up your Steam client and start the free patch, it won't take you very long unless you start playing the game. If you do that, then expect to be spending quite a few hours absorbed in the new gametype on Goldrush.A complete list of all the crazy Medic achievements can be found over on this official Valve webpage, if you're interested....
Bonk! Meet the Team Fortress 2 Scout
Valve never disappoints in the humor department with these Team Fortress 2 class videos. The newest of which features the Scout; a rough n' tumble type of guy who likes to make good use of his metal bat -- as all TF2 players know too well. We've already learned that after the first patch of new Medic weapons, other classes are going to be getting upgrades as well. This of course makes us wonder what kind of upgrade the Scout could see and whether or not that class is next in line -- although we're crossing our fingers for the Demoman. It's tough to say what kinds gameplay changes new weapons could bring to the Scout. It's possible that Valve could add guns that help his survivability when it comes to taking damage, or maybe increase his offensive capability. Whatever they do, we hope it happens as soon as they've promised as we're impatient when it comes to updates for our favorite games....
