Perhaps one of the most mysterious characters in the original Dragon Age: Origins campaign is Leliana, an Orlesian rogue who went from being a spy to a full fledged sister of the Chantry. The Leliana's Song DLC expansion goes in-depth into her story and features her as the main character. Players are introduced to a new cast of characters and experience a plot that furthers their appreciation of the game. The only problem is, Leliana was exaggerating a bit when she described the tale as "a long story."

While many folks thought developer BioWare might announce a sequel to Dragon Age Origins at E3 2010 this week, the development team did reveal plans for another big DLC mini-expansion for the fantasy RPG. Titled Leliana's Song, the DLC will be released for the PC on July 6 for $7.

In this mini-expansion you will take on the role of the title character, a bard who has to go on a "high-risk mission" for her employer, a criminal organization "that deals in political secrets". The fully voiced DLC will also give your a unique reward that can be used in both the Origins and the Awakening campaigns.
