When assembling the team of the best in the galaxy, which includes mercenaries, psychopaths and assassins, it's only natural that Mass Effect 2 would eventually round things out with a DLC expansion that includes a master thief. In steps Kasumi Goto to fill that role, dressed in a hooded outfit that covers half her face in shadow. The title for Stolen Memory is quite literal. An arms dealer stole the grey box of her lover and former partner in crime. Stored inside of it are all his memories, which includes (among other incriminating and sensitive data) information that puts Kasumi in danger. So, Shepard joins up with her to steal it back.

It look a little longer than expected but late yesterday BioWare finally released the first big paid downloadable content for their sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 2. The DLC, titled Kasumi - Stolen Memory, can be purchased and downloaded from BioWare's online store for 560 BioWare points (about $7). For that amount you get a new member of the squad that takes your player character on a new side mission.

If you still haven't bought the original game, the PC game download site Direct2Drive has announced via its Twitter page that Mass Effect 2 is on sale until April 11 for $15 off its normal price.
