We're not completely sure what we're supposed to take away from this intro cinematic for Fable III apart from a long dose of dramatic irony. Illustrating that not all stories have happy endings isn't exactly what we'd call a rousing start to an adventure. Maybe it's a challenge to succeed where the chicken fails... or a lesson in how you can't rely on birds to come to your aid. Maybe it's simply stating, "Don't be a chicken." In any case, players can find out when the game releases for the Xbox 360 this fall. A PC version is also in the works, but has recently been delayed to an unannounced release date.

We got the first half of the Prototype intro last month, and now here it is in its entirety. In it, you get a clearer look at what the infected citizens of New York City looks like and what the military's brutal response. Prototype is due to release in June.

This is the first part of the intro cinematic to Prototype, which sets up what the game will be all about. All that's left to do is get to work using special abilities to tear through the city straight to its chewy center, where the truth lies. Oh, and there's also the wait until June, when the game is scheduled to release.

This intro cinematic for Left 4 Dead, the cooperative multiplayer game where players battle against a legions of undead, should help calm gamers anxiously awaiting the game... or it could make them even more impatient with excitement. Pre-order customers will have a chance to play the demo on November 6th, and the full game releases soon after on November 18th. Either way, would-be zombie apocalypse survivors won't have much longer to wait before putting their survival skills to the test.
