Strategy games are one of our favorite genres. There's just something that appeals to us when it comes to commanding legions of units to wipe out our enemies. You could say it's the inner dictator coming out, but we like to think it's because we are thoughtful, logical people who enjoy a good intelligence-focused game. One offshoot of strategy games that we thoroughly enjoy are the card game/strategy hybrids such as
Metal Gear Ac!d. This may seem embarrassing, but there's just something compelling about a mixture of deck management and strategy. The science-fiction title
Intrepid is one of these games, and is thoroughly entertaining. There's a few problems, but the strength of the experience overshadows these issues, making Intrepid quite addicting.
