GameTap adds Loki; Infernal free for a week

GameTap's regular Thursday update is up and running as the subscription download PC game service has added the 2007 released fantas action-RPG game Loki to its library of games available via its monthly subscription fee. The game was developed by Cyanide Studio and published originally by Dreamcatcher Games and allows the player to take controls of heroes from four different Earth mythologies.

Also, GameTap has put the 2007 third person action game Infernal on its list of free games for a week. The game, developed by Metropolis Software, was released before they were bought by CD Projekt. They have been working on a super secret FPS previously known as They but little info on that game has been revealed.

GameTap adds UT 2004 to subscription service

Earlier this year the subscription-download game service GameTap announced a new deal with Epic Games to bring its Unreal games to its service. Today GameTap is scheduled to add one of those titles, the multiplayer oriented shooter Unreal Tournament 2004, to its subscription portion of its service. Gamers who sign on with their monthly free will be able to access UT 2004 with no restrictions.

It looks like GameTap has decided to skip a week in terms of introducing a new free game to the service for a week's worth of play. However it appears that last week's free game Legacy of Kain: Defiance is still available to play for free.
