Dungeon Siege movie sequel set has propane explosion that injures six workers

No one likes to hear about an accident that hurts people, not even on a movie set that's being directed by Uwe Boll. However that's what happened on the set of Boll's latest film, In the Name of The King 2, a sequel to the film that's loosely based on the Dungeon Siege game franchise.

Entertainment Weekly reports that a leaking propane container caused an explosion Tuesday on the set 45 minutes outside of Vancouver. The explosion injured six workers with minor burns and one broken leg as a result. The reports states that there will be no criminal investigation of the accident.

Awful Dungeon Siege movie gets Uwe Boll-directed sequel; ditches "Dungeon Siege" from title

In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale hit theaters with a massive thud back in January 2008. The film, based extremely loosely on Gas Powered Games' action-RPG series, only made $10 million worldwide in theaters compared to its budget of about $40 million. Oh, and it was directed by Uwe Boll.

So with all of that, there should be no risk of Boll making a sequel, right? Wrong. Apparently In The Name Of The King 2 (ditching the Dungeon Siege title completely) will start filming with Boll again in the director's chair in 2011. Bloginity reports that Dolph Lundgren has the "honor" of playing the lead; a modern day man who gets somehow sucked back into time but is placed 50 years after the events of the first film. Except that he finds out he was actually the son of the character Jason Statham played in the first movie and then sent forward in time to escape some evil and .... oh, we already have a headache thinking about it.
