Download: Gumboy Tournament v1.8 Demo

This casual arcade style independent game, created by the same team that developed the Gumboy: Crazy Adventures, lets up to nine players compete against each other over LAN or Internet. There's also support for 4-person split screen action. Or players can treat it as a single player game and compete against bots. This demo for Gumboy: Tournament includes all the features of the full game but only has six stages.

Steam weekend sale: Gumboy Pack just $4.99

It would be impossible to match last weekend's massive 50 percent off sale for all id Software games on Steam but this weekend's special deal isn't too bad. In fact it's pretty darn good This time the sale is for the Gumboy Pack, consisting of both Gumboy: Crazy Adventures and Gumboy Tournament. Both casual indie games were developed by Cinemax (no, not the cable network) and feature you controlling a shape-shifting sphere. Crazy Adventures is a single player game while Tournament, as you might guess, is a multiplayer title with support for up to eight players.

For this weekend only, Valve has put both games on sale via the Gumboy Pack. Bought separately they would cost $59.96. The pack is normally priced at $29.98 but this special Steam sale has the pack priced at just $4.99. That's a massive cut and certainly most of you reading this could afford that price.
