GoGamer.com starts its Black Friday sale early

Are you already waiting in line in front of some locked up store that will open up in the dead of the morning tomorrow? There's no need to do that if you are a PC gamer and wanting to get a boxed copy of a cool PC game. GoGamer.com's web site has launched its Black Friday sales event for those of you who want old fashioned PC boxed game copies.

The massive sale list is too long to post here but a few highlights include Maelstrom for one cent (yep, one cent) Two Worlds for 99 cents, Frontlines Fuel of War for $1.90, Assassin's Creed for $3.90, Mass Effect for $7.90, and Spore for $9.90.

GoGamer.com offers last minute weekend sales including Mass Effect 2

It's Sunday. Maybe you are watching the AFC Championship game or maybe you have a hankering to purchase a PC game on sale. It it's the latter, GoGamer.com has some solid deals on a number of games that will expire at 3 am ET on Monday morning.

The about-to-be-released PC port of Mass Effect 2 can be picked up at the site for just $41.90 during the sale. Some older PC games have some rock bottom prices as well. They include Company of Heroes for just $3.90, City of Heroes for $9.90 and a free copy of The Burning Crusade expansion with the sale of World of Warcraft for $19.90.

GoGamer.com's Red Friday sale has some last minute holiday deals

With just one more day left until The Big Day, some people may still be trying to get some great deals on gifts. If you are looking for PC games, GoGamer's final sale before Christmas (they are calling it Red Friday) has a ton of PC games with big price cuts.

Some are older titles such as Shattered Union for $6.90, Shadowrun for just $2.90 and Call of Juarez for a mere $4.90. More recent games also have some solid price cuts like Dragon Age: Origins for $34.90, Left 4 Dead 2 for $37.90 and Modern Warfare 2 for $49.90 (and yes, that is a sale price; it's usually $60).

GoGamer.com announces "White Friday" sales deals

Two weeks ago was "Black Friday" for GoGamer.com and last week it was "Green Friday" for the retail game web site. Today it's apparently "White Friday" at the site as GoGamer.com continues to cut prices to the bone on a number of PC games (and a few PC hardware products too).

Among the games you can get at rock bottom prices are Dungeon Siege for $3.90, F.E.A.R. 2 for $14.90, Mercenaries 2 for $3.90, and Heroes of Might and Magic V for $7.90. Newer games with sales deals include Order of War for $24.90, Wolfenstein for $22.90 and Prototype for $19.90.

Reminder: PC game Black Friday 2009 deals list

Technically tomorrow begins the busiest shopping day of the year but as some of you know many retailers and a lot of online sites and download services have already begun cutting prices on their products. Just to give you a quick overview of all the Black Friday-related sales we have mentioned in the past few weeks here's a recap:

GameStop Black Friday sales include Left 4 Dead 2 at $29.99
Best Buy to have $4.99 PC games for Black Friday sale
Direct2Drive and Impulse serve up some Thanksgiving PC game sales
Steam breaks out lots of holiday PC game download sales
EA cuts prices 30 percent from all downloadable PC games until Monday
GamersGate has new weekend sales
GoGamer has its own massive Black Friday sale

Of course we will keep you update on any new sales that pop up during the weekend. In fact we have one already; Steam managed to sneak in a sale of the first season of Telltale's Sam and Max series. You can get the season for 33 percent off its normal price until Tuesday. Our sister site Joystiq also has a extensive look at all of the console game-based Black Friday 2009 deals. Another sister site, the MMO-themed Massively, has their own Black Friday 2009 deals. Finally for all of the Black Friday 2009 sales for every store and web site, period, make sure to head to bfads.net, the best such site on the net.

GoGamer has its own massive Black Friday sale

Gaming retail site GoGamer.com always has Black Friday-like deals for its 48 Hour Madness sale. So what does it do when Black Friday actually comes? It turns up the sales dial to 11, that's what. Their sale, which lasts until 3 am Eastern time on Monday, has a massive amount of PC games on sale.

You can head over to the site for the full list which is just too long to reproduce here but here are just a few of the notable deals:

World of Warcraft - $4.90 (Friday and Saturday only)
Age of Conan - $2.90 (limit 1)
Mercenaries 2 - $2.90
Age of Conan Collector's Editon - $5.90
Civilization IV Complete - $9.90
Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year - $19.90
Red Faction: Guerrilla - $19.90

GoGamer breaks out latest 48 Hour Madness sale

If you follow Big Download around (and if you do we will consider putting a restraining order on you) you know that we like to post up the big sales deals that the GoGamer.com brings us during their still misnamed 48 Hours sale. Today is no different as a ton of PC game titles are on the list with sale prices that will last until 3 am Eastern time Tuesday.

This week, the deals include recent PC games like Borderlands for $36.90, The Sims 3 for $32.90 and Tropico 3 for $27.90. Older games are cut to the bone such as Bionic Commando for $17.90 and the first Halo PC port for $12.90.

GoGamer.com brings us some pre-Black Friday sales

Man, the holiday season seems to get here earlier and earlier ever year. There used to be a law that after Thanksgiving you could go all out but now it seems there will be special sales from now until December 25. GoGamer.com, however, seems to break out the special sales all the time. Their latest one lasts until 3 am ET on Tuesday.

This time the retail web site has some small discounts on just released games like Dragon Age: Origins ($42.90) and Borderlands ($36.90). Older PC games naturally have much steeper price cuts such as Rome: Total War Gold for $9.90, the PC port of Halo 2 for $14.90 and rFactor for $19.90.

GoGamer.com offers up more PC game sales including one for free (?)

They are usually quiet during the week but the retail web site GoGamer.com has come through again with their once again mis-named 48 Hour Madness sale. There's lots of PC games with major price cuts that will stay on sale until 3 am RT Tuesday.

One interesting sale is for Maelstrom, the sci-fi RTS game from developer KD-Vision and publisher Codemasters that was released in 2007. According to the site, the game is being sold for $0.00. That sounds like another term for "free" to us (although you still have to pay for shipping and handling). There's lots of other PC games that have their normal prices cut dramatically at GoGamer.com but none quite so much as Maelstrom. We hope that's not a reflection of the game itself.

Latest GoGamer.com sale breaks out the PC game deals

GoGamer.com always has a ton of PC games ready to unload at sale prices during their 48 Hour Madness periods. This one is no exception and ends at 3 am Eastern Time on Friday. For example you can get the boxed PC copy of Wolfenstein for just $24.90 (compare that price to getting game via download for its full $49.99 price).

Other sales include the PC port of X-Men Origins Wolverine for just $14.90, Wanted: Weapons of Fate for $19.90, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for $24.90 and the recently released PC game adaptation of Terminator: Salvation for a mere $9.90. Ouch.
