Tons of Ubisoft games to be added to GameTap

The PC game subscription-download service GameTap has been adding more and more games to its library of titles. A few months ago it announced it would be adding titles from Microsoft and today the company announced a new deal with Ubisoft that renews its current contract and will add over 50 Ubisoft games to its subscription service.

GameTap plans to add titles like the Brothers In Arms series, the Rainbow Six Vegas series, the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter series, Far Cry 2, Assassin's Creed and more to its monthly subscription service. In addition Ubisoft games will be added to GameTap's digital download store.

Ubisoft is planning to release the PC version of their near-future RTS game Tom Clancy's EndWar next week but if you hurry up and pre-order the game via Ubisoft's own download store or via Steam you will get a fairly nice free bonus game out of the deal.

With your pre-order of EndWar comes the instand and free download of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, the third major installment of the tactical shooter series. Normally the online price via Steam for the game is $9.99. Ubisoft's store also has the minimal and recommended system requirements for the downloadable version of EndWar. You can check out the requirements after the jump.

Steam adds Ghost Recon games and more titles

During E3 we managed to miss the fact that Valve's Steam service added a number of new games to its downloadable line-up. The major new additions are all of the PC games in Ubisoft's Ghost Recon series of tactical shooters. Valve has all five games in a special collection pack for $39.99 and until July 22 you can get the pack for the discounted price of $35.99.

Also added to the Steam line-up is the Monte Cristo RPG Silverfall and the indie casual puppet themed game The Wonderful End of the World from developer Dejobaan Games. Both titles are currently 10 percent off their regular price this week only

GRIN launches new PC gaming product line

Swedish game developer GRIN has been in business for a long time, developing games like the PC ports of Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and currently developing both the downloadable remake Bionic Commando Rearmed and the full fledged sequel Bionic Commando, both for Capcom. Now GRIN is expanding in a new direction with a series of gaming PC products.

Their first product will be a gaming PC mouse pad that's being made by gaming PC product maker Qpad. The mouse pad has the GRIN logo and the developer worked with Qpad to make a mouse pad that will please both the team at GRIN as well as gamers. The Qpad web site is currently selling the GRIN Gaming Edition mouse pad for 33 Euros. GRIN is promising that other products in their GRIN Gaming Edition series will be announced in the coming months.
