Team Fortress 2 action figures revealed

Team Fortress 2 characters could be joining your G.I. Joe action figure collection in the near future. Figures.com, reporting from the New York City Toy Fair, reports that Gaming Heads, who are already releasing detailed statues of various characters from games made by Valve, have shown off prototypes of action figures based on the characters from Valve's multiplayer shooter.

The prototypes were of the Heavy character with the gatling gun and shotgun weapons along with some alternate head and hands. The report says that Valve has yet to approve the sales of these action figures but we think we will be first in line to get some when they eventually go on sale.

Half-Life 2's headcrab zombie getting turned into collectible statue

The team at Gaming Heads have already created two impressive collectible statues based on games from Valve, including the Tank from Left 4 Dead and the Heavy from Team Fortress 2. Today Gaming Heads revealed a new Valve-based statue and it goes all the way back to 2004 for its inspiration.

It's the Half-Life 2 version of the infamous headcrap zombie, built with lots of detail in a 1/4 scale statue. Pre-orders for the new product begin on Monday October 4. Left 4 Dead 2 collectible Tank statue available for pre-order

As promised, Gaming Heads has launched pre-orders for their next collectible statue based on games from Valve. It's a highly detailed statue of the Tank special Infected character from the Left 4 Dead zombie shooter series. The 15 inch statue is "posed having just smashed through a reinforced door."

The statue will be released in two versions. There's a regular one that's limited to 750 statues for $299.99. There's also a special version that comes with an additional Pump Shogun (just in case it comes to life, we guess). It is also limited to 750 statues but costs $324.95. Left 4 Dead's Tank to be made into collectible statue

Earlier this year a company called Gaming Heads started selling detailed collectible statues of Team Fortress 2's Heavy character. Now another creation based on a popular Valve first person shooter is being prepped for a pre-order.

While the image above is (deliberately we think) blurry, Gaming Heads will be selling a statue based on the Tank Special infected zombie in Valve's co-op themed shooter Left 4 Dead and its sequel. Pre-orders for the statue will begin on Friday, July 30. So far there's no other details about the statue, its price or how many versions of it will be available to buy.

Team Fortress 2 collectible statues on sale; pricing starts at $230

Last week it was revealed that a new company called Gaming Heads had gotten the rights to produce collectible items based on Valve's many games. Today they launched pre-orders for their first product, a highly detailed 13-inch statue of the Heavy player character in Team Fortress 2.

Gaming Head is selling four versions of the statue. The "regular" version has two variants (Red and Blue) and comes with the character's mouth open (he could catch flies if he does that). The pricing for those statues are $229.99 each). The more limited edition version (also in Red and Blue variants) has the Heavy's mouth closed as well as a different weapon. It sells for $249.99 and only 300 will be sold. The statues will ship in the fourth quarter of 2010. At the moment it looks like the Gaming Heads web site is getting hammered by lots of traffic.
