Next Red Faction game to debut on GameTrailersTV Friday night

E3 2010 is now less than two weeks away and one of the games we want to check out is the new installment of the Red Faction sci-fi shooter series from developer Volition and publisher THQ. Now comes word that the game will get its proper world debut on Friday night during the latest episode of GameTrailersTV on the Spike TV cable network.

The show, which will be shown at 12:20 am on Friday (or early Saturday morning if you prefer) will also have some of the first actual gameplay footage from two other big upcoming PC shooter games, Crysis 2 and F.E.A.R. 3.

More BioShock 2 secrets to be revealed soon

It's been a little while since we have heard any real concrete news on BioShock 2. Sure there are all those viral marketing campaigns but aside from that there's been nothing major on the first person shooter sequel since publisher 2K Games showed the title to the press at E3. That may be changing this week as GameTrailersTV is planning to have a BioShock 2 heavy episode early Friday morning.

The show's host Geoff Keighley reveals in a new Twitter post that we will see "Lots of new single player info and footage! You'll meet new characters too...." Apparently one of those new characters is now in charge of the art-deco designed underwater city of Rapture. Hmmmmmm.

Spike TV serves up Hollywood babes for E3 2009 special

E3 2009 is returning (almost) to its larger trade show roots and that will definately include the return of the booth babes to the exhibit hall area. Spike TV knows this as well and for its upcoming Gametrailers.TV pre-E3 2009 special they are breaking out not one but two Hollywood actresses-babes.

Rose McGowan, who is handling the voice for one of the characters in the just released Terminator: Salvation, is being promoted as the co-host (with Geoff Keighley) of the special and Number Six herself Tricia Helfer also will make an appearance (no word as to why yet). The special itself was taped outside E3's venue (the LA Convention Center) and Spike TV states it will have a number of "exclusives" including new gameplay footage from Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Aliens Vs Predator and more. The special will be shown on Spike TV at 11 pm on Thursday and of course will be posted on Gametrailers.TV afterwards.

Another Modern Warfare 2 teaser tonight; full website launches Sunday

Activision is getting ready to roll out a lot more info on Modern Warfare 2. The next game in Infinity Ward's best selling present-day first person shooter series will offer up another gameplay teaser trailer tonight on Spike TV's GameTrailersTV program. You can catch that at 12:30 am ET tonight and check it out later on the GameTrailers.com web site.

We've already reported that the full gameplay trailer will debut during TNT's NBA Eastern Conference Finals telecast on Sunday. However the full Modern Warfare 2 web site (at modernwarfare2.com, natch) is also schedule to go live that night as well, according to a Twitter post from Infinity Ward's community manager. So there's a reason to check up on your basketball.
