President's Day is coming up on Monday which means a lucky few in the US get a three day weekend. With that in mind it looks like there are a few more interesting weekend PC game sales in this week's line up:

• Direct2Drive has a special 20 percent sale for all of its game titles this weekend. The discount is taken when you put in the promo code "hailtothechief" at checkout.
• Steam has Supreme Commander 2 on sale today only for just $3.74. It also has the game's Infinite War Battle Pack on sale as well for $2.49.
• Impulse has King's Bounty Platinum Pack on sale today only for $9.
• Impulse also has a number of games on sale this weekend including Command and Conquer 4 for $9.99.
• GamersGate has a boatload of games on sale this weekend including Age of Wonders for $3 and Trine for $9.98.
• The Games for Windows Marketplace web site has 4 Elements on sale for the next week for $4.99.

If you like game sales and underwater action then you may want to check out GamersGate this week. The PC game download site has posted its game sales for now until July 18 and many of the games take place under the sea (insert The Little Mermaid reference here).

Among the games on sale is the original BioShock which you can purchase and download for just $7.98 and its recent sequel Bioshock 2 for $20.96. You can also get the recent naval sim game Silent Hunter 5 for $24.98 and its Collector's Edition for $29.98. Finally the underwater action game Aquanox and its sequel Aquanox 2 are available for just $2.47 and $2.46, respectively.

Next week the latest game from the Sid Meier game factory Firaxis heads to shelves. It's the PC exclusive Civilization IV: Colonization and as we have reported on before it's basically a remake of the 1990's Microprose title Sid Meier's Colonization with the Civilization IV engine. However before you throw down some pre-order money, the Gamersgate download service has a deal they want to talk to you about in the alley.

"Psst...come here, man. You want Civilization IV: Colonization? Of course you do. You are addicted to that Sid Meier gameplay. So how about something in addition to that game? Yeah man. You pre-order that digital download from us at Gamersgate and we will set you up with Paradox Interactive's historical strategy game Europa Universalis III for free. That's a $19.99 game for nothin'. Are ya interested?"

We've been waiting for this announcement for a while but now Capcom has finally announced that Bionic Commando Rearmed, the 3D remake of the original side-scroller action game, will be made available for download for the PC on August 14.

The title, developed by GRIN, will be priced at $14.99 and will be made available via several download outlets, including Steam, Direct2Drive and Gamergate. This is the game that got an "M" rating due to the fact that it will replicate something from the original game's climax that we won't spoil here. Of course, the full-fledged sequel to the original game, simply called Bionic Commando, is due out sometime in 2008.
