If nothing else, Spore features an amazing creature creator that has an unprecedented amount of flexibility - allowing players to let their imaginations run free. So, it's no surprise that the editor should be the centerpiece of the action role-playing game Darkspore, where it's more powerful than ever. In this producer video, Gameplay Engineer Casey Weaver describes the ways players can use the Hero Editor to modify and upgrade characters in a variety of ways using body parts collected throughout the game. Parts can be stripped of their stats and embedded with new ones from a different item, so players can maintain the look they want for their heroes. Best of all, players won't be limited to just one hero, so they can keep a bunch of different creatures on reserve and select the one that best suits a mission.

More information about Darkspore is expected to come as we draw closer to the game's release on March 29, 2011, which by the way is revealed for the first time at the tail end of the dev diary video.

Using all in-game footage, this trailer for Homefront provides a first look at what the multiplayer action will be like featuring 32v32 combat. Homefront is expected to release in March 2011.

"The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources. A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Coinciding with the news that Call of Duty: Black Ops will have a kind of in-game currency to purchase bigger and better weapons, the game will also let you gamble it away in a multiplayer mode called Wager Match. As seen in this demonstration video, there will be a couple different Wager Match, but they all drop you into challenging scenarios that require a strong proficiency with all the game's weapons, especially the pistol and knife. Players will have a chance to win big or go broke when Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on November 9th.

Combat Arms players can add a powerful new weapon to their arsenal: the DSR-1 sniper rifle. Available in two versions, the DSR-1 Tactical (shown above) and Subsonic, this is a gun that will provide a huge advantage from a long distance. A gamplay video featuring the DSR-1 Subsonic, with its built-in silencer, can be seen after the jump. New players can get into the action now by download the Combat Arms client here.

"The DSR-1 was developed for counter-terrorist operations, this bullpup model sniper rifle offers fast and easy barrel exchange and the advantage of using a variety of ammunition. The Subsonic version of the DSR-1 is equipped with a silencer and uses subsonic rounds to provide bullet speed close to the velocity of sound. The Subsonic is one of the most accurate and deadly weapons in the enormous Combat Arms arsenal. The weapon is available in currently available in the Combat Arms shop."

Worms Reloaded includes a slew of options to personalize your own worm army, including specialized headgear and even a custom map editor. That way, you can build the perfect arena and look good blowing up the enemy on it. Players will have a chance to take advantage of these features when the game releases on August 26th. In this video, the developers working on Crysis 2 narrate and highlight different gameplay features players can expect from Crysis 2. The scene takes place in New York's Grand Central Station, one of the last fortifications to fall under the alien assault. The video also demonstrates some of the best ways to use nanosuit abilities to outsmart powerful enemies like the Pinger.

This trailer provides a first look at the gameplay of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. As with all Deus Ex games, practically every situation can be solved with a variety of options, ranging from stealthy infiltration to brute force. No matter what style the player decides to go with, there will be plenty of cybernetic augmentations to help them along. Human Revolution is expected to release in the spring of 2011.

The developers at 2K Czech working on Mafia II want to make sure that players have a rich, almost cinematic, feeling when playing the game. To this end, they designed the game engine from the ground up to fully immerse players, which includes dynamic lighting, the use of Nvidia PhysX technology, and dramatic cut scenes to tell the story. Of course, the developers haven't forgotten that the main goal is to design gameplay for people to enjoy. Mafia II is scheduled to release on August 24th.

This demonstration video for TERA takes the behind-closed-doors presentation shown at E3 2010 and condenses it down to presentation that's just over five minutes.
