Theater and PC games might not seem as mixing well together but a new off-Broadway series of plays in New York City is trying to change that. Game Play is offering a series of plays based on games and their culture from now until July 25.

Among the plays is Adventure Quest which is based solidly on the classic PC adventure games of the late 1980s and early 1990s such as those published by Sierra. Another play is called Thank You But Our Princess Is In Another Castle. It uses a combination of machinima from games such as World of Warcraft and live action to present classical stories.
