New Cross Fire update adds zombies . . .er, mutants to game
The recently launched free-to-play first person shooter Cross Fire is about to get a major update. Beginning today the game from deveoper Smilegate and publisher G4Box will launch a new Mutation gameplay mode. Yes, Cross Fire is getting their version of pitting humans against zombies. In this case the creatures are nanite-infected humans with three different levels.
Players can control the new Mutant faction which can infect other players from their claw attacks and turn them into Mutants themselves. The new content update for the game will also add three new weapons and two new maps along with a new story mission.
