Last March Abandon Interactive launched their unusual MMO title Freaky Creatures which combined social features with custom creature creation and Pokemon-style fighting. Today the company announced plans for the first expansion pack to Freaky Creatures. And this time the are headed, Josie and the Pussycats style, into outer space.

The Freaky Space expansion will nearly double the size of the game's universe as players will get to pick from one of four alien races and tons of factions. Featuring PvE gameplay along with new multiplayer battles, the press release states, "While exploring new realms and learning more about the dangers lurking in space, players will face off against the galaxy's deadliest challenges." A beta test for Freaky Space will begin this summer and it will officially launch later this year. In the meantime you can download the Freaky Creatures client at Big Download.
