This Week In PC Games: December 7-13

This week is the last in 2009 where we will see major PC game titles ship to stores (although there will likely be a few downloadable titlesand expansions that will come out next week). This week's releases include the final game from a major dev studio and the final chapter in a adventure game revival.

The Saboteur - Pandemic Studios' office got shut down a few weeks ago by Electronic Arts. But the last game made at the offices goes out with a bang with this WWII open world action title centering on a lone rebel in Paris who tries to fight the Nazis.

For the Glory: A Europa Universalis II Game announced

While Paradox Interactive will be releasing a straight expansion pack for their strategy game Europa Universalis III this year, they will also be releasing another game that's kind of a spin-off to the series. This week they announced For The Glory: A Europa Universalis II Game. Yes, it's based on the previous game in the series but is apparently a stand alone title rather than an expansion pack.

Based in part on the user created mod AGCEEP, the game will let players pick and take control of one of 180 countries in a time span between 1419 and 1819. The game lets you participate in an world with over 10,000 different but real historical events. The game is due for release in November.
